Last night Merlin fell to the hard hitting Selkirk 10-4. Merlin gave up 6 runs in the bottom of 6.

ORSA came to an end last night after a very exciting game. Score remained 0-0 up unitl the top of 8 when the pitcher from Selkirk lifted a HR to center field. Merlin couldn't score the tieing run in the last half of the inning taking the loss 1-0.

League play continues tonight in Merlin 8:30pm. A win will clinch 1st and move on to the playoffs.

Merlin clinched first place this passed Thrusday. Game ended in a tie 2-2 with heavy lightening approaching fast. Merlin won 7-0 last night in they're last league game. Playoffs are on they're way.

Last night Merlin gave a shpanking to the Reds 16-3 taking game 2. Play resumes Thursday in Merlin 7:30 pm

Fawcett (plays in the STDFL) is dominating the playoffs.......good pickup. This to go along with your strong hitting of course.......congrats. Pitching is obviously the most important part of this game. I agree that Windsor now has a hard time competing against the better leagues in Ontario. No kids play fastball in Windsor, any of the decent pitchers in Windsor come from smaller towns throughout Ontario. Bash the league all you want, if it makes you feel better.

Yea he does pitch with us. Only thing is he stands there and throws the ball instead of pitching his hardest cuz we all know the other teams wouldnt do well against him. This does give the other guys a chance to at least hit the ball.
