Although Owen Sound repeated a few years back. It is very difficult to do it. Look for one of the teams out west to take the title.

Both BC teams look strong! Sask. is looking to get back to the top. St. Thomas will be around on the weekend. It should be interesting. I think the defending champs have as good a chance as anyone. Their pitchers can toe up and that helps but they also have big time run producers like Wolfe and Rob OB. Solid defense, stSteve French pitching and timely hitting. It has always been the recipe for success. I just hope there are more than 8-10 teams playing in PG.

Obviously, St. Thomas will be hard pressed to repeat. It's not supposed to be easy! Every team there will be trying to knock us off and that makes it more difficult. That's also one of the things that makes it fun. Last year, whenever a team played Saskatoon it was a big game. If you beat the reigning champs you know that you have a shot to win the tourney. So every game will be a big one for us. Without the home crowd you lose that edge and obviously the BC teams will have that. From what we hear the crowds will be boistrous and that can either help a team or hurt it. I'm not predicting anything but I do think it will be a very competative tourney this year, maybe less teams but all will be competative. My thoughts.

The Cents will be just fine! It just might be them vs Orillia in the final of the qualifier. Wouldn't it shock the FP world if the Sharks had to get into the WT through the back door. If it happens, you heard it here first!!

Zack and Wardy have the arms to do it even if they could both pitch masters. I would love to see the Cents win the qualifier.

I'd love to take a hack or two. Had one swing with the Cents last year and worked a walk against the national developmental team. It was fun! I'll be in command at Jarvis so who knows...
