St. Thomas beat Belmont 4-0. Good pitching performance by BB. Todd Winkworth through well as well, but errors kill. Three out of the four runs were unearned. Brian Harvey hit the long ball.

Last evening the Alvinston Indians hosted the Morpeth Magic on home turf in Alvinston. The game was a tune up game for this coming weekend, when the Indians travel to the Niagara Region, for the Snapper Shootout. Indians pitching dominated last night's game, as Derwyn Hodgins and Brad Young combined for the shutout, allowing a combined three hits in the game. Hodgins earned the victory on the mound. Ryan Chapman hit a monstrous >home run for the Indians in the game, and Brad Young's 2 RBI triple was a big hit as well for the local team. Joe Triest was 3/3 for the Indians, with two singles, one triple, one run, and 2 RBI's. Scoring for the Indians were Darryl Smith (2), Andy Triest, Joe Triest, and Ryan Chapman. Driving in the runs were J. Triest (2), Young (2), and Chapman (1). Final score was Alvinston 5, Morpeth 0. BeN Blonde took the loss for the Magic.
