Yah Rykman has definately found his calling.. Coaching has def been the difference there in Morpeth.. They had a much more talented team on paper when they started in the league but too much ego on the bench coaching/managing. A ball team has to run without favorites, and without ego.. Could have been where they are now 4 years ago if not for that, took losing alot of talent to realize a change had to be made at the helm..

Can someone tell me again what Morpeth has accomplished?
ORSA championships WTF, who in men's fastball celebrates a ORSA championship. I did not even know it existed past bantam.
They beat Alvinston out of league playdowns once and will most likely go no further.
Rykman is not a coach. He could not teach any of his players anything. He can write the line-up.
But I guess it is a good thing to find positives...

Is anyone surprise at the result? If Morpeth wins a game, St. Thomas players should retire. Come on.

St. Thomas had first shot, but declined due to pitching concerns, and personnel for the weekend. Alvinston was then asked, and also declined, having played enough games in the 2010 season. Morpeth has now been asked, and I'm just waiting to hear back from Scot, however in speaking to him regarding the Challenge Cup, with Guy being injured he expressed concerns. Shedden would be next in line, if Morpeth was to decline.
