Yes the Cents are related to the Storm. Actually we're brothers!!LOL
Many of the Centennials players also play on the Storm for league play. That is why you don't see the Storm at many tourneys anymore. The ISC/ISCII restrictions won't allow many of the guys to play in certain tourneys.
I will be releasing our roster very soon. It is pretty much complete but there are a couple of things that need to be worked out at this time.
Thanks for your interest!

Post by 2008 Roster on Mar 7, 2008 18:18:46 GMT -5
P Scott Wagar – Wags joins us after a few successful seasons in Jarvis. He is a workhorse who will be counted on heavily to pitch important games and log plenty of innings. P Andy Jackson – AJ’s experience is a real plus for us. He will pitch and also see time in other positions. Andy previously played with the Fingal team and the Union Storm team. P Dan Beecroft – BB is a veteran and a great team guy. He has proven that he can play at the open level and is willing to take on whatever role he’s given. P Tane Richardson – Tane hails from New Zealand and has pitched for Townline and the NZBlack Sox. We hope that the addition of Tane to our improved pitching staff will elevate our team to the contender level. P Ryan Cummings – Ryan will be with us for select weekends and league games. He is developing into one of the top pitchers at the ISCII level and is hoping to make the jump to senior in the future. Chris Payne – he is our captain and a great team mate. Chris will play a steady 3B and possibly some outfield. Retard Lessard- Tyler anchors our infield and will play both middle positions. We hope he continues to be our offensive spark at the top of the order. Ty was tied for top batter at the ’07 WT Mark Coleman – Coley plays left field and will be expected to be a leader and contribute offensively. Brian Roote – will see time at 3B, OF and possibly behind the plate. Rooter’s bat improved toward the end of ’07 and we look for him to pick up where he left off. Chad Crawford – a solid hitter who plays a utility role. He can play 1B and OF as well as come off the bench to pinch hit. Kevin Lynch – Lynchy play the outfield and is a fast base runner. He has the ability to get on base and one he’s on can make things happen. Brad Robinson – Brad comes to us from Jarvis. A solid hitter with power. Can play 1B and OF. Chris Wismer - a utility man who can play IF, OF and catcher. Willing to do whatever it takes for the team. Wiz is also a good base runner. Rowan Lam – saw limited action with us last year. Rowan is a very good short stop with a strong arm. Seeing open level pitching regularly will help his bat progress. Mark Johnson – a speedy outfielder with some pop in his bat. Is a rising star in the game. Mike Pullen – Pully comes to us after many years with Innerkip. He can play almost any position and is a proven hitter. We look for him to play some middle IF as well as the OF. Aaron Gould – a great team guy and utility player who is willing to play any role. Will see time at 3B and come off the bench to PH, PR Simon “Ziggy” Rogers – just moved here from New Zealand. Will catch for us and play the OF. This will be his first year at the open level but he has plenty of experience playing in his native country at the national level. Craig Horswell – Craig played last season with Saskatoon. He is a very good defensive catcher with one of the strongest arms in the game. Andrew Groombridge – Athletic Trainer, Drew has a good rapport with the players and is excellent with helping players through the bumps and bruises that occur throughout the season. Bill Horne – Manager Tom Edie – Coach Dan Denniss – Coach Doug Eidt - Coach
