Indians end Storm's streak

FINGAL, Ont. -- The streak is over.
After striking out opponents for the past few months, the St. Thomas Storm’s 15-game winning streak ended with a 1-0 loss to the Alvinston Indians in the St. Thomas District Fastball League on Tuesday.
Indians pitcher Brad Young held the Storm to four hits over six and one-third innings while striking out six batters.
Mike Black scored the lone run. He scored when Scott Smith reached base on an error.
Derwyn Hodgins earned the save recording the final two outs of the game.
Alvinston, riding a six-game winning streak, improves to 17-7 and moves to two games behind the league leading Storm at 19-5.

Storm cuts game short

FINGAL, Ont. -- What might have been.
Glencoe Astros Shawn Winship had a no hitter over six innings against the St. Thomas Storm before rain and lightning cut the scoreless game short.
Due to being no score, the game will have to replayed therefore wiping out any statistics, most notably the no hitter. Winship struck out eight batters and gave up one walk.
Storm pitcher Ryan Cummings had a four-hitter with 12 strikeouts.
St. Thomas plays Morpeth Magic in a doubleheader tonight at 7:30 pm.

Storm nearing 5th straight pennant
St. Thomas wallops Alvinston 9-5

The magic number is down to one for the St. Thomas Storm to clinch the St. Thomas District Fastball League regular season pennant for a fifth consecutive season.
A 9-5 win over the second place Alvinston Indians Tuesday improved the Storm record to 22-5 with a three-game lead.
The Storm will own the pennant if they win one of their three remaining games or the Indians lose once more.
Pitcher Brent Crocker worked five innings for the Storm with Chris Wismer tossing two scoreless innings.
Brian Harvey led the Storm charge with three hits and three RBIs. Mark Coleman, Kevin Lynch and Crocker, with a solo shot in the second inning, all had two hits. Chris Payne scored three runs.
Joe Triest had three hits and Mike Black had a pair of doubles for Alvinston. Pitcher Derwyn Hodgins suffered the loss.
St. Thomas visits Shedden for a doubleheader Sunday at 2 p.m.

Nice nice tommy, I really am enjoying reading some of the bull shit that gets put out by these no mother fuckin name bitches. There must be alot of skirts out there that can't put there names. Its all good Coley is making predictions on the season, we are going to go at least 25 and 5 and brizzle if hes not cut from the team will hit his first home run. Gouldy Fantastic churp about knocking the rest of those teeth out of brizzle mouth (fuckin beauty ) lol . I also have to say that the new SUBLIMATED unis might be Ok payner your one hell of a salesman. would like to thank the chicken shit bastard for the comment. I can understand you not wanting to put your name down cause you got no BALLS. I went on there and made a pridiction that I thought was realistic for the type of ball team we have. It wasn't to piss anyone off it was more of a motivator for our ball club. Now since who ever you are and what ever you do outside of put your fingers up your own ass would like to reply with a name I would to chat about this more. But my be mouth is going to make just one more prediction, I don't think you have the balls to put your name behind that big mouth.
