In remembrance of Katie Horne the first annual golf tournament organized in her name will be Saturday, Sept. 30 at Pleasant Valley Golf Club.
Katie, the daughter of St. Thomas Centennials manager Bill Horne, succumbed to brain cancer last December.

Prior to the 2nd annual Katie Horne Memorial there was a changing of the belts as the Total Package could not find his "A" game at Firerock Golf Course. It was very similar to his last 2 years of Sr. Fastball, had a great year with St.Thomas then decided to join another team with more names than leaders, where he could not muster his "A" game. After winning the belt at Forest City National the switch to the tougher, shot making track, Firerock, proved detrimental to OB Jones. I guess golf is a lot like Fastball, if you play well and are happy, why switch to a different venue??? LOL Sorry CJ but it has been a long time coming.
P.s. keep the 37.50 we won in skins and put it towards some golf lessons.
